Aya decided to have a large coffee at 10 last night, so I didn't get much sleep, hence the mood. First off, a couple of things I missed off my last post. We visited a fish and rum bar in Airlie Beach called Fish D'Vine, which was stunning. Amazing Mojito's and a wonderful grilled barramundi dinner. Just thought it was something worth mentioning.
We're now in Cairns, stopping over in Townsville for a couple of hours to see the city and then a marathon drive by Jerome and I saw us finally to the city in the north. We went swimming yesterday to try and cool ourselves down (it's freakin' HOT here!) and we've spent some time wandering around the city following the advice of lonely planet (lonely planet is now our God).
Other than that, not a huge amount to report. I have a ton of pictures I need to upload, which I'm going to try and do tonight, as we're in a backpackers hostel I can grab the internet there, so that should be good. We've found lots of nice shops, and we bought a ball for the swimming pool (letting out or childish sides).
Cécile leaves us for Darwin tomorrow morning at stupid o clock, so I'll be tired then too. It'll be a shame to see her go, we've enjoyed her company immensely. Maybe we'll see each other again some day...
Finally for now, I think this is as good a time as any to state I am not planning on returning for Uni for another 2 or 3 years. I've decided to try and figure out who I am, and what I want to do with my life before I return... I might look at clearing when it pops up, I'm still torn as to what to do. For now though, I'm just living my life, travelling around, and trying to understand myself.
