And here we go again...

So, we're sat here in a coffee place in Melbourne airport, and it's just gone 5:30 AM. We woke at quarter to 5, roused by the noise of the people moving around us. I won't lie, it wasn't a great nights sleep, drifting off a couple of times to be awoken by a cleaner needing to get by us or a child shrieking in the distance. And the air con! Why on earth they had it turned on is beyond me still, it was blowing 12 degree air onto us, making it that much harder to sleep.

Still, life of a traveller once more, sacrifices must be made for the sake of the wallet. Got a few hours sleep, just need to survive 10 hours of flight time and a train ride into central singapore and I can try and get some sleep at the hostel. Hopefully it'll be warmer there! Is it winter or summer in Singapore...?

Anyway, I'm starting to feel a little more human, my coffee has sparked that little caffeine button inside me and writing is forcing my brain to be at least a little alive. No rest for the wicked.

Packing everything into a bag again was a shock, we had both forgotten how little we could carry, and with forlorn started packing up bags upon bags of things to throw away. We're quite pleased at getting our bags under 15 kilos, but a shame we didn't realise we had until after we had purchased 20 kilo luggage limits for all of our flights.

Okay, just a short post for now, getting the dust off the old blog and giving it a quick wipe over, here's hoping I can keep it updated!
